Becoming a host family

The host family selection group will call you to set up an interview. The interview process does not obligate you to host nor does it guarantee that you will be selected as a host family.
You must live in the North Penn School District.
Our program always has German, French and Spanish students to be hosted.
The exchange student must have his/her own bed.
The host family is not reimbursed for hosting.
You will need to provide a study area and three meals a day.
The exchange student will be between 15 and 18 years of age.
The student is expected to attend school on a regular basis and is expected to apply themselves academically.
The host family must set realistic expectations of life with this teenage exchange student.
You must provide a safe and loving environment and support the student academically and emotionally.
The host family must take an interest in sharing cultural and family traditions with the student.
